Our Field Studies Programs emphasize inquiry and hands-on learning with topics ranging from flower form and seed dispersal to changing ecosystems. Up to 2,000 students participate each year, and many more visit for self-guided discovery. Through donor support, the Arboretum has expanded its partnership with Boston Public Schools by offering professional development for teachers through monthly workshops and a Summer Institute.
